About Us
Mission
We are called to build hope, lives, and futures by leading people to Christ while equipping them for worship and ministry. We are a Spirit-filled body of believers with a vision to love God wholeheartedly and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30). Our desire is to love others by helping them in their time of need (1 John 3:17) and by proclaiming the gospel to them (Romans 1:16).
Our Beliefs
We believe there is ONE God, the Creator, who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father so loved the world; the Son (Jesus Christ) purchased our salvation with His death, burial and resurrection; and the Holy Spirit makes us new and abides in us forever. We believe the Bible to be God’s Word and the revelation of His will for our lives. Read more of our beliefs here.

Our facilities are also available for rental for events such as birthday's, weddings, etc. Contact us for more information.

In Our Community
That’s why we actively love and serve our neighbors and communities. As an outward-focused church, we preach the gospel and bring Jesus to each and every person in our community. We have many different outreaches: kids programs, food pantry, youth events, and so much more!
Around the World
At Alive Now Church, taking the Gospel to the world is a vital mission. We believe in the mandate to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” In pursuit of this calling, we have established a church in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India, where we are reaching kids through Alive Now Kidz and have plans to plant churches in Nepal, Burundi, and Kenya.

MEET JOANN MACKSYN
Joann Macksyn is an Ambassador for Alive Now Church. We currently partner with Alive Now Kids Ohio, which provides missions and mobile Sunday school to kids in the communities of Akron and Canton. Joann has devoted her life to sharing the love of Christ and helping children all over the world and has served in ministry for more than 30 years.

FREE BIBLES FOR THOSE WITHOUT
Free Bibles for Those Without is a non-profit ministry dedicated to spreading the Word of God by providing physical copies of the Bible to individuals who do not have one. Serving Canton, Ohio, and the surrounding areas, Free Bibles for Those Without seeks to ensure that people of all ages have access to their own Bible and can read God’s wisdom for their lives (Proverbs 3:15 & 8:11).
NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE
A coalition of statewide grassroots pro-life, pro-family organizations, National Right to Life is an action coalition that believes in pro-life protection with no exceptions. National Right to Life works to empower its local Pro-life member organizations to maximize their impact in the communities they serve and to assist them in developing the next generation of Pro-life leaders.
