About Us
Mission
We are called to build hope, lives, and futures by leading people to Christ while equipping them for worship and ministry. We are a Spirit-filled body of believers with a vision to love God wholeheartedly and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). Our desire is to love others by helping them in their time of need (1 John 3:17) and by proclaiming the gospel to them (Romans 1:16).
Our Beliefs
We believe there is ONE God, the Creator, who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father so loved the world; the Son Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) purchased our salvation with His death, burial and resurrection; and the Holy Spirit makes us new and abides in us forever. We believe in all 9 gifts and all 9 fruits of the spirit. We believe in the entire 5-fold ministry and operations of the Spirit. We believe the Bible to be God’s Word written by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21) and the revelation of His will for our lives. We believe in the water baptism and do baptisms, but more importantly the fire baptism of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16, Acts 11:16, Mark 1:8, John 1:33). We believe in the original biblical holidays (Leviticus 23). Keeping the Hebrew roots of the faith developes a deeper more intimate consecration, a deeper relationship with loving God & his commandments. We believe understanding the original tongues of the bible helps further revelatory knowledge for everyone. We believe everyone is commanded to evangelize, fast, pray, study, and spend intimate time with the LORD in the "secret place". Read more of our beliefs here.

Join us at 1023 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708 on Saturdays for adult sermons, kid programs, teen programs, dinner and fellowship for the whole family:
- Wednesday Bible Lessons: 6 pm
- Saturday Services
- - Worship: 5 pm
- - Alive Now Kidz: 5:30 pm
- - Fellowship Dinner: 6:15 pm
- - Alive Now Teenz: 7 pm
- Sunday Service: 10:30 am
Our facilities are also available for rental for events such as birthday's, weddings, etc. Contact us for more information.

Evangelism
John 20:21 As the father has sent me, so I send you! That’s why we actively love and serve our neighbors and communities. It is a commandment for everyone to go out and win souls to Jesus, one way or another. As an outward-focused church, we preach the gospel and bring Jesus to each and every person in our community, and all environments! We have the most evangelism techniques and styles out of any church in Ohio and we also train people on how to evangelize in any weather or time of day. We have many different outreaches: kids programs, food pantry, truck outreaches, youth events, and so much more!

MEET JOANN MACKSYN
Joann Macksyn is an Ambassador for Alive Now Church. We currently partner with Alive Now Kidz Ohio, which provides missions and mobile Sunday school to kids in the communities of Canton Akron and Cleveland. Joann has devoted her life to sharing the love of Christ and helping children all over the world and has served in ministry for more than 30 years. In 2025 she partnered with the Founder of Free Bibles For Those Without as well as the Head Of Outreach Rushon Trevl Patterson II (Head Pastor).

Free Bibles for Those Without is a non-profit ministry dedicated to spreading the Word of God by providing physical copies of the Bible to individuals who do not have one. Serving Canton, Ohio, 26 States and 287 Cities, Free Bibles for Those Without seeks to ensure that people of all ages have access to their own Bible and can read God’s wisdom for their lives (Proverbs 3:15 & 8:11).
